On the 22nd of July 2021, we hosted a Charity Golf Day on behalf of our client, RAK Ceramics, after experiencing such a success hosting their inaugural Golf Day back in 2019.

This Charity Golf Day was in aid of raising money for a charity very close to all of our hearts, Rowans Hospice. This hospice offers patients excellent palliative and end-of-life care both inside the centre and at home. The Golf Day was held at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in Warwick and featured 21 teams of 4.

We organised this special event by liaising with the golf club to host the function and the hotel to book overnight rooms for the guests and then started by designing and producing the event invites before sending them out, as well as contacting the invited clients on behalf of RAK Ceramics to organise the teams. On top of this, we sold Platinum and Gold sponsorship packages as well as designing, producing and selling advertising space within the Event programme.

Also, prior to the big day, we ordered t-shirts, golf balls, water bottles and gift bags with the RAK Ceramics branding for the participants, alongside Prize gifts including Engraved glass decanters for the Overall Winners, as well as prizes for the winners of the various competitions and draws held throughout the day.

We were delighted to organise the evening entertainment provided by the hilarious mind-reading comedian Mike McClean. The final piece of the puzzle was organising the amazing auction prizes that involved contacting various hotels, restaurants and experience companies.

During the round of golf on the King’s Course, our photographer captured highlights of the day and team photos, whilst drinks were offered via golf buggy to keep all participants refreshed.

The whole day was an incredible success raising a whopping £60,000 for Rowans Hospice.

The organisation was fantastic, the golf course and company were brilliant, and finally, the entertainment was absolutely top draw. Well done for all the organisation, which I know is not easy, and collecting so much in donations from the auctions.
