We were delighted to work with Finborough School to produce a video highlighting their fantastic Learnability and Seven Habits ethos, which builds the foundations of their teaching practises.

Our first job was to understand exactly what type of video was required in terms of length, what it would be used for and content and feel. From this, we created a storyboard; preparation is of paramount importance to ensure smooth running on the day of filming. At Trident, we believe the secret to a successful video, particularly when face-to-face interviews will be featured is to ensure the featured interviewees feel as comfortable as possible. To ensure this, we went into the school to meet the students and give them some media training and brief on the questions that would be asked on the day of filming.

Working with the school, we produced a detailed filming schedule to ensure that we had abundant footage. We carried out a day of drone video and photography to capture the stunning school building and grounds, as well as a full day of filming on location at the school. The children and staff filmed were absolute stars, all giving eloquent and natural interviews and were an absolute delight to work with.

The next stage was to condense over 10 hours of video footage into a 4 to 5-minute video. After lots of editing and post-production, all carried out by our in house team; we presented the first draft to the school, who was highly delighted. A few tweaks and more post-production and adding graphics and suitable music resulted in a video that both Trident and Finborough are extremely proud of.

We are thrilled with the final video and cannot wait to start work on the second edition video focusing more on the promotion of the wonderful school.
