Coffee and Cake
Trident Marketing held our annual Macmillan Cancer Coffee and Cake morning and raised an incredible £200.00
Here at Trident we have held our annual coffee and cake morning for the last 3 years in support of Macmillan Cancer Care. As you can see from the photo, we enjoyed lots of home made baking including a delicious Coffee cake and Victoria sponge made by our star baker of the day - Erin Quirke (Paul's daughter). We were also treated to carrot cake, lemon drizzle, apricot and cranberry flapjacks and rocky road. It is far to say that all of the staff were 'caked out!'
To raise additional funds for the cause, we also opened our fine tin. We have a rubber brick that gets passed around the members of staff which they have to display on their desk if they have a 'brick moment' i.e. do something silly or make a mistake. It is often a democratic vote as to whether people are nominated for the 'brick' and of course people have the right to appeal but everyone in the team always pays their 50p fine for such a worthy cause!
Trident's office dogs were also thrilled that they had the chance to lick up the crumbs and were very obedient when the cake was around. The Trident team are delighted that they have managed to raise £200 for the Macmillan Coffee morning and look forward to more yummy cake and coffee at next years event!
